It's time to find out what's new at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
You will hear about the newest attractions like the American Idol Experience at Disney's Hollywood Studios and the newest Disney Vacation Club Resorts: Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort and the Tree House Villas found at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort.
Similar to the video created for Disney World's Magic Kingdom, this Day at Epcot used Tilt-Shift Photography to create the miniature looking effect. This is video of the real Epcot, it just looks different due to the unique filming techique.
The real challenge for this video came with the filming of the Illuminations fireworks show that occurs each night at Epcot. To capture the fireworks they filmed at a rate of 1 frame per second and the result is magnificent.
Hats off to David Roark, manager of creative photography for Yellow Shoes Creative Group, who was able to figure out how capture the fireworks.
The video does a great job of capturing the key elements of a day at Epcot. It starts with people entering the park and views of the Monorail bringing people to the park.
The first attraction of the day is the Land Pavilion. Ride "Living With The Land", and then head to the Living Seas with Nemo and Friends and watch Scuba Divers in the tanks. Don't miss Mickey Mouse himself scuba diving. Then it off to race around Test Track, Epcot's high speed thrill ride. The visit to Epcot's Future World concludes with a walk by The Universe of Energy, home to Ellen's Energy Adventure.
The next part of the day is spent exploring the Epcot's World Showcase. Travel through Canada, window shop in Great Britain, then catch a Mariachi Band playing in Mexico.
Next its time to wach the Dragon Legend Acrobats in China and then take a relaxing cruise across the World Showcase Lagoon. The busy can continues in Germany, watching a Belly Dancer and Mo 'Rockin perform in Morocco, and then visiting Japan.
Your trip around the World showcase continues by seeing the Fife & Drum Corp perform in America, stroll through Italy, and shopping in France.
As night time approaches you go back to Future World to ride Mission Space and then get settled in to watch the Amazing Illuminations: Reflections of Earth Fireworks Show.
Learn about the 6 week long process that transforms Cinderella's Castle at the Magic Kingdom into the sparkling spectacle that it becomes for Christmas.
Over 200,000 LED lights that are attached to over 40,000 square feet of fisherman's netting are attached at night after the park is close by teams of workers with giant cranes. It takes 18 miles of electrical cables to tie it all together.
After it is all in place then extensive testing occurs to get all of the controls programmed to be able to turn them on and off on command and sychronized with the music.
Amazingly all of these lights are operated with the same amount of electricity that it takes to power 3 clothes dryers.
If you have not seen this display in person, I can tell you that it is truly amazing. It is a sight to behold. Cinderella's Castle has never looked so magical before.
This interactive storybook is brought to you by DisneyParks on YouTube.

Bob Iger, president and CEO of The Walt Disney Company, said, “‘Give a Day, Get a Disney Day’ fits perfectly with our long history of supporting and participating in volunteer efforts. It’s a great way to honor guests who are making a positive contribution to their communities.”
